AR500 Level III+ A1 Body Armor Plate features a FragLock coating that gives fragmentation protection while sealing the plate to ensure a 20-year shelf life. This body armor, constructed of a custom steel alloy blend, can stop Level III+ threats such as 7.62×39/7.62×51/5.56 M193s, 5.56 M855 penetrators, and .223/.308 WIN rounds.
